THIS IS MY STEPDAD!!! his name is ivor but he has spiky hair and used to be in a band where his stage name was spike so we call him spike

i have known him like 8 years and he is my mom’s fiancé so not technically my stepdad but he’s basically my stepdad ok and i’m gonna be one of the groomsmen at their wedding

him and my mom met online and have been together 8 years this november!!! they met on imdb forums and talked about movies and stuff back when i still lived in france. we live in dublin in ireland and he lives in birmingham in the UK right now, but he’s moving to dublin to live with us later this year!

together spike and my mom are pretty much the parents from Easy A they’re really cool ok

he’s like 47 and he’s 200% punk rock, he dyes his hair a new colour every two weeks or so and blares punk music every morning and the guy across the hall from him is also punk and they go to punk gigs and do punk stuff

in short my stepdad’s really awesome and if anyone tells you
a) online relationships aren’t real/don’t count and
b) you have to grow out of your punk/rebellious stage
